Magic Leap 2

Magic Leap 2 is state of the art AR Headset that has truly revolutionized the AR/VR industry. Some of the top features include one of the largest FOV in the industry, dynamic and segmented dimming to help provide amazing detail and focus to digital pixels while allowing for minimal pass through. Magic Leap 2 has been instrumental in the enterprise industry, not limited to healthcare, factory, logistics etc.

Dynamic Dimming™ technology

Reduce image washout and maintain clear visibility of AR apps across diverse environments—from operating rooms, to construction sites, to factory floors.

Segmented Dimming™ feature

Dim specific portions of the display to enhance legibility and clarity of selected content, and can also be used to focus attention to areas or components of interest.

Global Dimming™ feature

Dim the entire display without dimming digital content to make text and images more solid and precise.

Largest digital field of view (FOV)1

An expansive 70° diagonal FOV allows large scale BIM models, digital twins, and visuals to have the space they need in order to be effective.

Resolution and image quality

Magic Leap 2 combines advanced visual technology with high-resolution displays: its four high-accuracy cameras track the user’s eyes at 60 Hz, enhancing image rendering and quality, while a 1440x1760 pixel resolution supports stunning clarity of images, video, and text, all at up to 2,000 nits of brightness.

System Unity Tools

As lead engineer of System Unity Tools, I developed a framework, architecture and pipeline for gamifiation. Designed and developed various projects using game technology for sensor analysis. This is one of a kind software that is instrumental to achieving stability and core metrics that is critical to the AR device. Implemented multiplayer AR game scenes, one of a kind and one of the earliest AR prototype using Magic Leap. The gamified software covered multiple components of the magic leap device such as Hand tracking, head tracking, eye tracking etc.
